Owner - Operations Manager

The Tramontana Yacht Deliveries was founded by the Greek professional skipper George Maleas {greekskipper.com}  George has spent much of his life in, on and near the water and holds the qualification of RYA/MCA Yachtmaster. He bought his first boat in 2005 with few more following the next years and meanwhile he managed to obtain his bachelor degree in animal science. He has uncountable sea miles under his belt with numerous deliveries and charter trips as well as he is still an active captain and member of the Greek Skippers Association {portolanos.com} He enjoys fishing, hiking, snowboarding (whenever he is not on a boat) and do endless walks with his 12 years old daughter.  He has over 20 years of experience on many different sailing and motor yachts on four different continents. From small catamarans to 80 ft luxurious ones to modern cruising and regatta yachts, and from fast RIB’s and tenders to luxury power yachts.

As an entrepreneurial spirit, he successfully tried his luck to several different sectors by setting up companies non related to the yachting industry which he is still in charge today.   

Magda Eleftheriadou
Back office - logistics

Magda has a strong business background and she is the one who organizes everything. She has a bachelor degree in agricultural science and a master's degree in data analytics.  

Argyris Gregoriou
Skipper


Argyris is the Skipper you want on your boat. Skillful, hard working with tons of experience in catamarans and single hulls. With him onboard, it is guaranteed that your boat will be in good hands.

Dimitri Ploumidis
Skipper

Dimitri has been around to the yachting industry as a professional skipper for over a decade and has done countless deliveries and charter trips. Easy going with huge passion for cycling.

Thomas Zak
Skipper

Thomas is the "heavy cavalry" when it comes to ocean passages. He has done the transatlantic crossing numerous times and when he is not doing that, he does charter trips either in Europe or in the Carib.

Sotiris Konstas
Skipper

Sotiris is a Greek Professional skipper with loads of experience in catamarans and single hulls. He loves cooking onboard and he is the media guy in the company. When he is not on a boat he loves to travel and make documentaries.

Cpt. Nassos Roukas


Nassos is a highly experienced Captain with over 15 years in maritime industry. He has worked for mega yachts for many years and has seen the world from the "cockpit view". He has an advisory role among the team as he knows the waters better than anyone.

Cpt. Vasilis Kavadias

Vasilis is 40 years old. He has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy, and he is Captain in Class A. Vasilis has worked successfully in many luxury yachts and he is very experienced with charters and deliveries. When not at work, he loves spending time with his family. We are really happy that he joined our team!

Gregory Dret
Skipper

Gregory is the "old fox" of our team. He has over of 30 years experience in the sea and literally, he never stops. From yacht deliveries to charter trips and so on, he has accumulate a vast knowledge for the seas and the industry.

Antonis Nikolaidis
Skipper

Antonis has been around the industry for almost 30 years. He can't even remember how many deliveries he has done nor charter trips. A true sailor with huge knowledge and a loud voice. Whenever he is not on boat usually he is on boat..

Spiro Kaminaris
Skipper

He says that as long as he can remember himself, he was always on a boat. His father used to be a captain in merchant navy so it was kinda a "dead end" for him to become a captain. With his old traditional wooden boat he has thousands of stories to share with us.

Jim Stat
Skipper

Jim was a sailing instructor for over a decade and it was only then when he decided to step up and become a professional sailor. He loves doing long passages for days as long as he has music. Uncountable sea miles on his back from Transatlantic crossings and deliveries as well as from charter trips.

Elias Kara
Skipper

Elias is the new addition to our team and the youngest one. He is 26 years old and he started his career as a deckhand to deliveries and regattas. Soon he felt confident enough to start taking deliveries by himself and since then he has been a great value to our team. A really easy going person, cheerful and always positive.
